The Street Cats of Istanbul
Pixel Art Endless Runner
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Six real street cats, each from a different Istanbul neighbourhood. Wake them, stroke them, and they will give you something for the road.
Istanbul belongs to its cats. Run its streets, dodge the traffic, and meet the six who run the place.
A hand-drawn pixel art endless runner set in a city that really does hand its pavements over to cats. Three lanes, one thumb: swipe to change lane, swipe up to jump a pothole, swipe down to slide under a seagull. The simit cart you simply have to go around.
MEET THE CATS
Every fifty coins, a cat is waiting. They are asleep when you find them, so wake them gently and stroke them until their heart fills - a cat that is properly loved hands over a better gift. The Balat street cat pulls every coin on the road towards you. The Kadikoy rebel shrugs off your next crash. The Besiktas boss doubles everything you score. The ferry cat turns the seagulls into coins. The Galata gourmet calls down a rain of fish. The tram cat slows the whole city to a stroll.
A CITY THAT CHANGES
The street ahead becomes the neighbourhood of the cat you are running towards - the painted houses of Balat, the Bosphorus ferry at sunset, Galata, Istiklal. Lamp posts, flower pots and dozing cats line the pavements, gulls cross the sky, and the obstacles you meet belong to the district you are in.
EARN AND SPEND
Collect coins as you run and three tasks a day to chase. Spend what you earn on a magnet to start with, a shield, an extra life - or on how you look: simit-shaped coins, a bandana for the cats, a trail of hearts behind every jump.
NO STRINGS
No adverts. No sign-up. No internet needed. Nothing is collected about you and nothing leaves your phone. Just the game.
