Everyone can see the word but you. Hold the phone to your forehead while your team shouts clues, acts it out or sings it, and guess before the clock runs out.
Back Cover is the classic party guessing game, made for game night: no ads, no account, and twelve original decks drawn as pocket paperbacks.
HOW TO PLAY
One player holds the phone to their forehead, screen facing out, without peeking. Their team describes the word on the card, acts it out or sings it, but never says it. Tilt the phone down for a correct guess and up to pass, or tap Correct and Pass. Get as many as you can in 60 or 90 seconds.
TWELVE DECKS, 1,441 CARDS
Animals, Act It Out, Food & Drink, Around the House, Jobs, Sports & Games, Places, Fairy Tales & Fantasy, Celebrations, On the Move, Music & Hobbies, and Kids. Every card is family friendly, and the decks remember what you've seen, so a deck goes all the way around before a word comes back.
YOUR OWN DECKS, IN ANY LANGUAGE
Type or paste a list of words in any language and play it at once: inside jokes, a class's spelling words, your family's favorite movies. Cards break where your language breaks, so Japanese and Thai read as they should.
TEAMS AND SCORES
One to six teams take turns, with up to five rounds each. After every round, see each card you got and each one you passed, and at the end, who won.
HOLD IT LIKE A BOOK
Back Cover is optimized for iPhone Duo. Open your iPhone Duo and hold it like a book: the word appears on the back cover, facing your team, while the inside shows you only the timer, the score, and Correct and Pass. The back camera films your team giving clues, and after each round you can save the reaction reel to Photos, with a short end card, or discard it. Folded, it plays on your forehead like any iPhone.
THREE DECKS TO START
Animals, Act It Out, and Food & Drink are free, with one deck of your own. One purchase, All Decks, unlocks the other nine decks and as many decks of your own as you like. No subscription, no ads.
PRIVATE
No account, no ads and no tracking. Your decks stay on your iPhone, and reaction reels go to Photos only when you keep one. Back Cover sends anonymous usage statistics to help it get better. They never include the words on your cards, your team names or your reels, and you can turn them off in Settings.
