Eyeline: Video Teleprompter
Your script follows your voice
Only for iPhone
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
iPhone
Your script, right beside the lens. With Pro it follows your voice as you speak, and on iPhone Duo it reads from the outer display, beside the main camera.
Eyeline is a teleprompter that keeps your eyes on the lens. Your script scrolls right beside the camera while you record, so the people watching see you talking to them, not reading.
Pick a script, tap Record and read. A countdown, then you're rolling.
Follows your voice (Pro)
Turn on voice-follow and the words move as you speak: they wait when you pause and catch up when you skip ahead. Speech is recognized on your iPhone, and nothing you say leaves it.
Record while it scrolls
• Film yourself with the front or back camera, in 1080p, or in 4K with Pro
• Smooth scrolling at your pace, from 60 to 260 words a minute
• Tap the words to pause, and drag them to find your place
• Text size and margins to suit you
• Wired, USB-C and Bluetooth microphones, AirPods included
• Every take goes straight to your photo library
Interview mode (Pro)
Turn a list of questions into an interview: one question at a time, moved on by whoever holds the iPhone.
Hands free
• Start and stop a take with a volume button, Camera Control or a press on your AirPods
• Bluetooth presentation clickers, page turners and keyboards pause the words and move through them
Prompt on a rig
Prompt shows just the words, full screen, mirrored for a beam-splitter teleprompter.
Your scripts
• Write, paste or import text and Markdown files
• Each one gets its own icon and color, picked from its title or by you
• See how long each one runs at your reading speed
• Scripts can be in most languages; Eyeline's own words are in English
Optimized for iPhone Duo
Open it up and film with the main camera: your script shows on the outer display, right beside the lens, so you can look straight into the best camera on the phone (the outer-display prompter is part of Pro). In interview mode, the outer display shows each question to the person you're filming while you move on from the inner display. Closed, Eyeline is a classic front-camera teleprompter. It fits both displays and every pose.
Eyeline Pro
Pro adds voice-follow, 4K recording, clips of any length (free clips stop at one minute), the outer-display prompter on iPhone Duo and interview mode. Choose monthly or yearly, where yearly starts with a one-week free trial, or pay once for lifetime access.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings.
Private by design
No account, no ads and no tracking. Your scripts stay on your iPhone, and voice-follow listens on it alone. Eyeline sends anonymous usage statistics to help improve the app, never your scripts or recordings, and you can turn them off in Settings.
