Intent - Scroll by Choice

Make Your Screen Time a Choice

$2.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Stop opening apps on autopilot. Intent gives you a moment to pause, breathe, and choose — so your screen time becomes a choice again. Take back control of your screen time. How many times have you opened an app without even thinking about it? You pick up your phone to check one thing. A few minutes later, you’re still scrolling. Intent is designed to interrupt that autopilot. When you open an app you’ve chosen to protect, Intent creates a simple pause between the impulse and the action. Take a breath. Ask yourself if you really want to continue. Then make a conscious choice. YOUR PHONE. YOUR CHOICE. Intent doesn’t lock you out of your apps or decide what’s good for you. You’re always in control. If you choose to continue, simply decide how much time you want to spend — 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes, or a custom duration. When your time is up, Intent steps in again. No guilt. No punishment. Just a moment to choose. WHAT INTENT GIVES YOU • Pause before you scroll A short breathing pause helps break the automatic open-and-scroll habit. • Choose your time Decide how long you actually want to spend in an app instead of realizing later how much time disappeared. • See your habits Simple, private statistics help you see your decisions and become more aware of how you use your phone. • Focus Set a timer, put distractions aside, and give your attention to one thing at a time. • Meditate Slow down with simple breathing sessions and calming sounds including rain, forest, ocean and brown noise. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your habits are personal. Intent keeps them that way. • No account or sign-up • No ads • No tracking • No telemetry • No remote servers • Your selected apps and activity stay on your device Intent is built using Apple’s Screen Time technologies and works directly on your iPhone. Your phone should be something you choose to use — not something you open without thinking. Pause. Breathe. Choose. Make your screen time a choice again.
