Ostina Metronome

Odd Time, Polyrhythm & Setlist

Free

Odd meters, polyrhythms and a stage-ready setlist in one metronome. The core metronome is free; extra tools open for the day with one short ad. Ostina is a metronome built by musicians for the way you actually play: on stage, in odd meters and in long practice sessions. ODD METERS, THE WAY YOU HEAR THEM Set any meter, from 2/4 to 21/8, and tap each beat to make it accented, normal, soft or silent. Groupings like 2+2+3 form on their own, and the dial shows them as you play. STAGE MODE AND SETLISTS Build setlists with tempo, meter, accents and length for every song. Stage Mode turns them into a large, clear view: tap a song and go, stop at the end of the song or move straight to the next one. The screen stays on while you play. RHYTHMS FROM AROUND THE WORLD 40 ready-made rhythms from 11 traditions: Turkish usul, Balkan aksak, flamenco compás, Hindustani and Carnatic tala, Arabic iqa', Latin and Afro-Cuban, West African, Korean jangdan, Celtic, jazz and blues. Load any of them with one tap. POLYRHYTHM Layer a second rhythm over the main beat: 3:2, 4:3, 5:4, 7:4 or your own. Each layer has its own accents and volume. PRACTICE TOOLS - Tempo trainer: start slow and let the tempo climb step by step to your target. - Silent bars: the click drops out for a few bars so you learn to keep time on your own. - Rhythm coach: rudiments and a phrase generator with real notation, from easy to hard, with an optional foot ostinato. - Timer and count-in. MADE FOR THE STAGE - Precise timing that keeps running in the background and on the lock screen. - Four sound sets, see and feel the beat with flash and haptics. - Four themes in light and dark, including a high-contrast theme for bright stages. - Available in 9 languages. FREE TO USE The metronome itself is free and has no ads. Some extra tools are marked PRO; you can open any of them for the whole day by watching one short ad.
