Japan's National Treasure Garden has grown. • The Former Furui House joins the garden, bringing the total to 234 buildings in Japan designated as National Treasures. It is a 15th-century farmhouse, among the first folk houses ever named a National Treasure. • New National Treasure titles in your records: earn six titles, from First Treasure to Guardian of Treasures, as you find more buildings.

A seventh stage, Japan's National Treasure Garden, has arrived. • All 233 buildings in Japan designated as National Treasures turn into mushrooms, each with a painting of the building on its cap: Horyu-ji, Himeji Castle, Byodo-in, Nikko Toshogu, Itsukushima Shrine and more. • The guide has a new Treasures filter, sortable by year of designation or by prefecture. Open any entry to search or jump to Google Maps. • Collect all 233 and lanterns light up in the sky of your garden.

Collecting the World Garden and the World Heritage Garden is easier to finish. • Easier endgame: in the World Garden and the World Heritage Garden, mushrooms you haven't found yet become more likely as your collection grows, so the last few no longer hide for so long. • Harvest alerts: you are notified when your mushrooms ripen. No alerts at night (10 PM to 8 AM). When your guide reaches 10 species, you are asked whether to turn them on. • When you start playing, your first mushroom sprouts right away. Swipe left and right to page through How to Play, now with shorter text.

Harvest alerts and country completion are here. Mycelium now speaks German, too. • Harvest alerts: get a notification when your mushrooms are ripe. Turn them on or off in Settings (off by default). No alerts at night (10 PM to 8 AM). • Country completion: in countries with two or more World Heritage sites, find every site to complete that country. Track your count in Records. • German language support. If your device is set to German, the game and the guide appear in German.

The guide is now easier to search and more connected. • Jump between a World Garden country and its World Heritage sites from either page. • New search field in the guide: find by name or country. • New sorting: heritage by year or name; World Garden by continent or country. • 24 landscape caps that were hard to read have been redrawn. • A one-time notice about the new stages, and a "New" mark on stages you haven't visited yet. • The "added to the guide" and "stage unlocked" messages no longer overwrite each other.

A new stage joins the game: the World Heritage Garden. • 280 natural and mixed World Heritage sites are now mushrooms with landscape caps. You can visit it from the start. • The World Garden is also open from the start. • Stages are now chosen from a sheet that slides up from the bottom. • Collect them all for a special celebration. • From a site's page, you can search for it or open it in Google Maps. • The guide's filter chips now wrap onto multiple lines.

It's now easier to learn about the World Garden mushrooms. • From a world mushroom's page, you can now search for what it's named after together with the country name (for example, "Maldives Sea Turtle"). • Plus small improvements.

We've made the World Garden easier to enjoy. • Flag mushrooms now have a flag-shaped cap, so every flag is easier to see. • Tuned the number of mushrooms in the World Garden so collecting all 193 countries takes a relaxed pace. • Before the World Garden unlocks, a country's page now tells you how to unlock it (80 species). • Plus small improvements.

Introducing a new stage: World Garden! • Mushrooms from all 193 countries, each with a flag-patterned cap. Collect them all. • A world map at the top of your field guide, with pinch-to-zoom and a full-screen view. • For each country, open its capital in Google Maps or look up what its mushroom is named after. • Complete a continent to add decorations to the sky and see a special celebration. • New World titles and World records, including progress by continent. • Plus small improvements to the field guide.
