Ambient Acid Radio
Endless soundscapes to mix
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Layer rain, forest, flutes and drones into scenes of your own, or let FM turn your library into a station that never plays the same way twice.
Ambient Acid Radio is where sounds meet. Rain on a tent roof, a creek in the woods, a flute far away, a low drone. Layer up to ten of them into a scene, set each one's level and let it play for as long as you like.
Every included sound loops without an audible seam. No account, no ads, no internet needed.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
243 sounds in 21 albums, from rain, rivers and the sea to birds, crickets, fire, flutes and deep drones. 94 ready made scenes in lanes such as Sleep, Focus, Morning, Night, Music, Weather, Ocean, Forest and Space. Rename them, rebuild them or delete them, just like your own.
SCENES YOU MIX YOURSELF
Every sound in a scene has its own slider. On the tracks, a sound can come in later and fade out again while the others keep running, so a scene rarely sounds the same twice. Ambient Acid Radio evens out the volumes first, so the same slider position means the same loudness.
FM, YOUR OWN STATION
FM plays one piece after another from your library: your scenes, and new mixes it builds from single sounds. Every change is a slow crossfade. Four sliders set the mood, the source, how often it changes and how much music it plays. Thumbs up and down shape what comes next, the moon makes it calmer as you drift off, and Start Radio plays more of a sound or scene you like. 22 programs with chapters are included.
YOUR OWN SOUNDS
Bring in WAV, MP3, M4A, AIFF, CAF, FLAC or AAC files from the Files app. Ambient Acid Radio can prepare a recording for endless playback: it finds the best place to loop and softens the seam, with the loop engine from myLoop. Or it takes the file just as it is.
FIND WHAT FITS
Ambient Acid Radio listens to every sound and gives it a profile: type of sound, character, tone. Search the way you remember, or explore the Sound Map, where every sound sits between tonal and noisy, calm and eventful.
FOR THE NIGHT
A sleep timer that fades out over 15 seconds. A night view with nothing but a dim ring. Playback keeps going in the background with controls on the Lock Screen, or alongside music from other apps if you prefer.
IT STAYS WITH YOU
What you listen to and what you mix stays on your device. Pack everything of your own into a single backup file and bring it back on a new iPhone or iPad.
TRY IT FOR 30 DAYS
Everything is free for the first 30 days. After that, Ambient Acid Radio keeps working, and each playback stops after 10 minutes with a gentle fade. A one-time purchase or a yearly or monthly subscription removes the limit.
Ambient Acid Radio comes from the makers of myLoop.

Fixes and improvements:
• After a pause in the app, the Lock Screen shows Play again, and one press continues
• Adding or removing a sound in a playing scene no longer restarts the scene or clicks
• Some included sounds clicked when they started over. Every included sound now loops without an audible seam
• FM follows the mood more closely, repeats less, and shows the change time with Wind-Down on
• Sound Map: only a tap plays a sound, and fewer names keep the map clear
• FM: hold the moon button to set the sleep timer
• Search: find scenes by stars (5, 4+, 3+)
• The moon menu no longer flickers
