ReplayCap Companion turns your iPhone or iPad into a dedicated remote control for ReplayCap on your Mac. Keep your phone on your desk next to your keyboard, and capture your best gameplay moments without tabbing out, reaching for awkward hotkeys, or covering your screen with overlays.
Requires ReplayCap for Mac, available on the Mac App Store. Not set up yet? Tap "Try without a Mac" to explore every control with sample data first.
Save Replays in One Tap
• Quick Replay: Save your replay buffer instantly with a single tap.
• Extended Replay: Save longer custom buffer windows when a match goes the distance.
• Session Recording: Start and stop full manual recording sessions directly from your phone.
Audio and Capture Controls
• Toggle your microphone and system audio on the fly.
• Adjust volume levels and mute individual apps from the audio mixer.
• Switch the captured display or apply a capture profile you've set up in ReplayCap.
Live Status on Your Desk
• See your replay buffer filling up in real time with smooth progress meters.
• Keep an eye on memory usage, elapsed recording time, and active displays.
• Immediate visual and haptic feedback confirms when a clip finishes saving to your Mac.
• Deck mode keeps your screen on while your phone sits beside you.
Review Recent Clips
• Browse clips saved during your current session.
• See thumbnails, file sizes, and exact durations.
• Reveal clips in Finder, trim or copy them on your Mac, or clear out unwanted takes.
Quick, Local Setup
1. Open ReplayCap on your Mac and turn on the Companion server in Settings.
2. Open ReplayCap Companion on your iPhone or iPad.
3. Tap your Mac when it appears, check that the code matches on both screens, then click Allow on your Mac.
Requirements
Requires ReplayCap 2.0 or later for Mac, available on the Mac App Store. ReplayCap Companion connects to your Mac over your local Wi-Fi network. Nothing is sent to the internet.

ReplayCap Companion now matches your Mac's Appearance theme live.
• Live Mac theming: when connected to ReplayCap 2.2 on your Mac, the app takes on your chosen atmosphere, accent colour, two-colour gradient and glass surface style, updating smoothly as you change them on your Mac.
• Appearance sheet: tap the paintbrush at the top of Home to see the active theme, toggle "Match my Mac", or preview every atmosphere in Demo mode.
• Remembered per Mac: your phone remembers each paired Mac's theme and applies it as soon as you open the app.
• Improved contrast: buttons filled with bright accent colours automatically use dark labels so every palette stays easy to read.
