A quiet game of fire, wind, and river.
Pull back, let go, and send a spark up into a canopy of paper lanterns. Each lantern it touches catches, and the fire runs along the strings to its neighbours. Light every golden wish lantern and the whole canopy lifts away into the night.
A night is twelve canopies down four reaches of the river, from moonlit shallows through bamboo rapids and shrine straits to the harbour. The wind picks up as you go. Your paper boat drifts below, and any spark that lands in it comes back to your hand.
The festival lasts seven nights. Finish one and the next opens: a harder river that pays more. The keeper who lit the lanterns each year is gone, and you have her boat. Each canopy tells a little more of her story, and each night's guardian gives up one line of her wish.
There are no timers, no ads, and nothing to sign up for.
HOW IT PLAYS
• Drag back to aim, with a short arc showing where the spark will go
• Fire spreads along strings, so one good shot can light a whole cluster
• Stone pagodas deflect, bells ring out and light their neighbours, damp lanterns need two strikes
• Catch a falling spark in your boat to get it back
• Carry supplies and use them when you choose: tinder for one more spark, a guiding star that shows the whole arc, lamp oil, still air
SEVEN NIGHTS AND A DAILY
• Twelve canopies a night, with a guardian lantern over the harbour bar
• Seven nights, each adding its own trouble: wind in the shallows, shorter strings, stone, rain, a lean pouch, a guardian at every reach
• Six blessings a night from twelve to find, each changing how sparks fly or what a catch is worth
• Leave a night half way and take it up again where you moored
• A short daily river, the same for every player, with its own leaderboard
• Game Center leaderboards for your best night and the daily, and fourteen feats to earn

• Earn embers by playing and spend them on supplies, three more paper boats, three more canopy skies and four more kinds of spark
• A comet that flies through lanterns, an iron spark that breaks stone, a cluster you burst in mid-air
