Guardian is a safety alerts and incident map for the UK and Paris. See what is being reported near the places and people you care about, and get an alert when something happens close by.
Pick Home, work, the school, Mum's. Guardian watches the area around each place and tells you when something is reported nearby: a stabbing, a collision, a fire, an emergency response, a robbery, an arrest.

• Scan any address in the UK or Paris when you set up the app and see how many incidents were reported around it over the last 24 hours, 72 hours and 7 days
GUARDIAN PREMIUM
• The live map: every incident reported in the last 7 days, and a timeline to look back up to 30 days
• Tap any incident for what it is, how long ago it was reported and where the report came from
• Alerts for your places and the people you love, at least 3 km around each one: choose how serious, mute any place at any time
• Scan reports for any address: incidents by kind, days since the last stabbing, this week against last, and the council it sits in, with a card you can share
• The feed of what is being reported across the UK and Paris, near you and near your places
• One tap to call the emergency services (999 in the UK, 112 in France), and a message with your location to your emergency contacts
WHERE IT COMES FROM
Guardian uses publicly available data, and every report shows its source so you can judge it yourself. Guardian does not confirm incidents, coverage varies by area, and it does not cover everything that happens. Guardian has no access to private emergency-service channels.

Guardian is not an emergency service and cannot contact one for you. In an emergency, call 999 in the UK or 112 in France.
SUBSCRIPTION
Choose a yearly or weekly plan in the app. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Protests in Paris, live on the map: each hotspot gets its pin over a zone that grows with the reports, with the declared march route, banned routes and the police's no-go zones. Tap a hotspot for its latest posts, photos and videos. Also: a pin always sits at the centre of its area, and a cleaner tab bar.
