Moonrow is a vineyard row tracker for grape harvest crews. It uses GPS to record every row your harvester finishes, tells you which row is next, flags any row you missed, and hands the night off cleanly at sunrise. No extra hardware: it runs on your iPhone's built-in GPS.
KNOW WHERE YOU ARE
• A live row map: done rows turn green, the row you're in glows, missed rows show red.
• Your row, progress and distance to the row end, in type big enough to read from the seat.
• Heading-up map with satellite imagery.
• Made for phone GPS: Moonrow learns your GPS offset as you drive, and if it ever names the wrong row, one tap on Shift puts it right.
• Starting away from the block? Moonrow points the way to your first row, with driving directions in Apple Maps.
EYES ON THE VINES
• A calm voice calls each row end and the next row to take, in English or Spanish.
• Four voices to choose from.
• Skip and loop patterns for machines too big to turn into the next row. On the headland, Moonrow tells you which way to turn, counts the rows down and says when to turn in.
NOTHING LEFT BEHIND
• Skipped and half-done rows stay flagged until they're finished.
• Drop pins for bins, hazards and rows to come back to, right where you are.
• Close the app and pick the night back up right where you left it.
HAND OFF AT SUNRISE
• One tap shares a summary of the night: rows done, time, distance and rows to check.
• Hand a block to the next crew, or export the track as GPX.
• History keeps every night of the season, block by block.
SET UP ONCE
• Pin the ends of row 1 and of the last row, and Moonrow lays out every row, even where a road cuts the block at an angle.
• Auto-map: as you harvest, Moonrow learns where each row really starts and ends and fits the block's map to your vines.
• On first launch, a guided walkthrough has you set up and harvest a practice block, one tap at a time. Try the demo vineyard anywhere, before your first night out.
MADE FOR THE DARK
• Red-light mode keeps the cab dark and protects your night vision.
• Tonight's moon phase, moonlight and sunrise on the home screen.
• Built for iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo. Open the Duo for the map on one side and your rows on the other. Row tracking needs GPS, so on iPad use a Wi-Fi + Cellular model.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Your blocks and nights sync through your own iCloud account.
• No ads. No tracking.
Moonrow is a record-keeping and orientation aid. It is not an autosteer system or a safety device. Always follow your training and the machine manufacturer's instructions.
