Gridiron U is a college football coaching sim where every decision is yours: who you recruit, what you run, when you go for it, and how long you keep your job.
RECRUIT THE NEXT STAR
Work a recruiting board built around your roster's needs. Scout prospects to see past the star ratings, make NIL pitches, and find the gems the other schools missed. Kids close to home are an easier sell; out-of-state stars take more work. Land the recruit, or watch him sign with a rival. Raid the transfer portal when you need help now.
DRAW YOUR OWN PLAYS
Design plays route by route: pick a formation, drag each receiver's route and set the progression. Build out your defense too, with fronts, blitzes and coverages. Then call your plays on game day.
CALL EVERY SNAP
Play games snap by snap with animated replays of every play: broken tackles, deep shots, pick-sixes and goal-line stands. Use timeouts, go for two, survive overtime. Or sim to your next possession, the rest of the game, or the whole season when you'd rather manage than coach.
RIP OPEN BOOSTER PACKS
Every offseason your boosters deliver a pack of cards. Hand out player perks, development boosts and recruiting help, or play team cards that bend the rules of the whole season. Helpful cards come with a cost next year.
CHASE A NATIONAL TITLE
Win your conference, earn a bid in the 12-team playoff, and hang the banner. Rivalry games, a weekly Top 25, award races, a pro draft and a record book keep every season interesting.
SURVIVE THE HOT SEAT
Your athletic director has expectations. Meet them and climb the coaching ladder. Miss them and the seat heats up. Get fired and you'll need to find a new job. Three firings and your career is over.
DEVELOP YOUR PLAYERS
Players grow every spring, gain skills like Burner and Cannon Arm, and carry flaws you'll have to coach around. Set your depth chart, develop your freshmen and send your stars to the draft.
