Riffle is a flipbook animation app for iPhone. Draw a picture on each page, riffle the edge with your thumb, and watch your drawings move. Then share your animation as a video or a GIF.
It's made for doodlers, families drawing together, and beginners learning frame-by-frame animation.
Draw page by page
• Draw with your finger on paper that feels like paper, one page at a time.
• Onion skin shows the pages before faintly beneath, so each drawing lines up with the last.
• Pen, pencil, marker, eraser and lasso, in three widths, with a hand-picked palette.
• Add, duplicate, move and delete pages from the filmstrip.
Play it like a flipbook
• Tap Play to watch it at 6, 8, 12 or 24 frames a second: looping, ping-ponging or playing once.
• Drag your thumb down the edge of the page to riffle through it, with the sound of paper.
• Start from the classic Bouncing Ball template, which teaches squash and stretch.
Share it as a video or GIF
• Export a video or a looping GIF in three shapes: the book page, a 9:16 story, or a square for feeds.
• Share it anywhere or save it to Photos.

• Close the phone like a book and the hinge plays your flipbook, page by page.

Riffle Pro
Riffle is free with three flipbooks of up to 50 pages, and free exports carry a "Made with Riffle" mark. Riffle Pro adds:
• Unlimited flipbooks, up to 600 pages each
• HD exports without the mark
• Every paper, palette and brush, with new packs as they arrive
• Every template, and the archive of past weekly prompts
Riffle Pro is $2.99 a month or $14.99 a year (with a one-week free trial), or a one-time $29.99 lifetime purchase, and can be shared with Family Sharing. Prices vary by country. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged within 24 hours before renewal. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings. Your flipbooks are never locked or deleted if Pro ends.

Is Riffle free? Yes. Drawing, onion skin, video and GIF export and the weekly prompt are free, with no ads.
Do I need an iPhone Duo? No. Every hinge action has a touch path, so Riffle works the same on any iPhone.
