DuctFlow Pro is an engineering workspace for ventilation duct design and analysis. Build a connected network, assign terminal airflow demand, size duct sections against your project criteria, and compare independent design alternatives—all in one local workspace. DESIGN THE NETWORK Draw ducts on a snapped plan, connect nodes, insert branches, and edit segment properties. Organize projects by floor and air system. Switch between the network plan and a generated spatial model to inspect connections and section geometry. CALCULATE WITH TRACEABLE INPUTS Aggregate terminal design flows through directed tree networks. Review duct velocity, Reynolds number, Darcy friction, local fitting losses, node continuity, and source-to-terminal pressure paths. Saved calculations retain their original inputs so earlier decisions remain available after the design changes. SIZE SECTIONS AGAINST YOUR CRITERIA Set maximum velocity, friction per metre, section size, and rectangular aspect ratio. Preview preferred section recommendations and their effect on the network. Review fitting and terminal loss assumptions before applying the proposed dimensions and saving a recalculation. COMPARE INDEPENDENT ALTERNATIVES Create a separate alternative from a baseline design. Modify its geometry, sections, or terminal demand without changing the baseline. Calculate both networks and compare critical pressure, shared duct velocities, pressure losses, and added or removed ducts. Export comparison results as CSV. WORK WITH EQUIPMENT AND OBSERVATIONS Enter or import equipment curves and compare them with a complete network calculation. Record terminal airflow observations and review deviations from design demand. Maintain fitting coefficients and their references alongside your network inputs. KEEP YOUR ENGINEERING RECORDS Manage local projects, calculation history, and revision activity. Generate engineering PDF reports, export duct schedules and calculation results, and save or restore JSON workspace backups. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account is required. Projects and calculation records stay in the app's local storage. There are no advertising or analytics services, and no automatic project uploads. You choose the files to import and the destinations for exported documents. ENGINEERING SCOPE DuctFlow Pro supports directed design-flow tree networks using Darcy–Weisbach friction calculations and Colebrook–White turbulent friction evaluation. It does not provide arbitrary loop pressure solutions, CFD simulation, or certified regulatory compliance. Section sizing criteria are user-defined. Review geometry, fitting coefficient references, terminal losses, and manufacturer curve data for the actual installation. An editable demonstration project is included. Example equipment curves and loss assumptions are identified as demonstration data. Requires iOS 15 or later.
