JockeyBox: Horse Racing Career
Ride from rookie to champion
Expected Nov 7, 2026 · $5.99 · In‑App Purchases
Push, hold, go for the whip. Read each horse, find your line, pick your moment. A real jockey's career, from your first ride to the world's biggest races.
From rookie to champion.
JockeyBox is a 3D horse racing game that puts a jockey's decisions and tactics in your hands.
RIDE THE RACE FROM THE SADDLE
Push, hold, go for the whip. Break from the gate, settle a keen horse, find a way through when the wall closes in front. Every moment to the line is your call. Seven strikes of the whip per race. How you ride and how the race unfolds matter more than raw stats.
KNOW YOUR HORSE, RIDE IT BETTER
Quick out of the gate, slow to respond, hates being crowded. The more you ride a horse, the more its habits show. Ride it twice in a row and it becomes yours.
A JOCKEY'S LIFE, ONE RIDE REQUEST AT A TIME
Start as a stable's apprentice and take the rides trainers and owners offer. Build a record, go freelance, and team up with an agent to find your mounts.
EARN RESPECT, EVEN WITHOUT WINNING
Connections give you orders: settle the horse, give it a race to build on, finish in the frame. Ride the race they asked for and trainers and owners will trust you more, win or lose. Cut across a rival in the straight and the stewards will have a word.
AT HOME AND ABROAD
25 racecourses: 15 in Japan (9 on the main national circuit and 6 regional tracks that race at night) and 10 overseas, with 24 original G1 races on the national circuit. 700+ jockeys, trainers and owners and 7,500+ racehorses. Win graded races on your own horse and overseas offers follow.
FROM YOUR FARM TO THE NEXT GENERATION
Champions you rode retire to your farm. Breed them, name the foals and send them to the track. Ride for 20 years and your child can take up the reins.
ONLINE RACES
Race riders from everywhere in the same race, on equal horses. Weekly rankings, a weekly leading table (wins that week) and all-time leaders. The online course changes every week.
CONTROLS THAT FIT
Touch controls on iPhone and iPad, with a stick or a d-pad and either hand for the whip. Keyboard on Mac.
PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF
iPhone, iPad and Mac. Saves shared through iCloud, and your online rider follows you across devices on the same Apple ID. Switch between Japanese and English in-game.
THE SHOP
Silks, outfits, colors for your whip and goggles, a body finish for your horse, plus more places and matings at your farm. The points you spend on ride requests are never sold.
ONLINE MONTHLY PLAN
Ten online races a week are free. The monthly plan (an auto-renewable subscription) removes the limit. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account and renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings.
