DoneThen turns chores into rewards your family earns. Stick an NFC tag, a small sticker, where the chore happens: on the dishwasher, by the toothbrush, at the desk. When the chore is done, a tap on the tag with an iPhone, or a scan of its code on an iPad, earns minutes, coins or both. You choose the apps the minutes open. At zero they lock again, with a heads-up five minutes before.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Set up your family and a few chores, each with what it earns.
2. Pair an NFC sticker with each chore, or print its QR code.
3. When the chore is done, a tap on the tag counts it, and DoneThen celebrates.
4. Minutes open the apps you picked, on the device you set up. Coins add up toward a reward you agree on.
YOU STAY IN CHARGE
• Choose which chores count at once, and which wait for your OK.
• Approve in a tap, from a notification or the Approvals tab.
• Give or take minutes, give coins, or mark a chore done yourself.
• Asks for more time come to you, and you decide.
• Set free minutes each day, a cap, and whether unused minutes carry over.
• Get a summary of your family's week every Sunday.
• Invite the other parent: you both see and manage everything.
MORE THAN MINUTES
• Coins toward a goal, like a day at the zoo.
• A streak for every day with a chore done, with a bonus if you like.
• Stamps you give for trying hard, with a few words DoneThen reads aloud.
• Challenges in the app: math practice, a quiz you write, a puzzle, a scavenger hunt.
Screen time is optional for everyone in the family. Without it, chores earn coins and the streak, and nothing on that device is locked.
ONE IPAD, THE WHOLE FAMILY
Everyone who shares an iPad picks their own profile and taps their three animals, so every chore counts for the right person.
JUST FOR ME
DoneThen works for grown-ups too. Limit your own apps and earn your minutes with habits like reading, a workout or a walk.
• Earned breaks: when your minutes run out, win a short break with a chess puzzle, a 300-step walk or a minute of slow breathing, as many times a day as you allow. Your steps stay on your iPhone.
• Protected limits: changing your apps or limits, or stopping DoneThen, takes a tap on one of your tags or a 10-minute wait, so a moment's urge can't undo them. Adding a habit always works.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No ads and no tracking.
• Your family's data is protected by Europe's privacy law (GDPR), and DoneThen never asks for photos.
• You pick the apps with Apple's own picker, and DoneThen never learns which apps they are.
• Delete your account in the app at any time.
WHAT YOU NEED
DoneThen runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17 or later. An iPhone taps NFC stickers (NTAG213 or NTAG215); an iPad scans printed QR codes. Limiting apps uses Apple's Screen Time, which a parent approves on the device it limits.
FREE FOR 14 DAYS
Try every feature for 14 days, with no card. Then one subscription covers your whole family, monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you subscribe. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
