Markdown is everywhere now. AI assistants answer in it, coding agents write their plans and READMEs in it, and your notes probably live in it too. Plaintext Studio is a native Mac app for reading, writing and sharing it: type on the left, see the finished document on the right.

Plaintext Studio opens .md, .markdown and plain text files, and saves them as plain Markdown that any other app can read. No lock-in, ever.
