DriverLock pairs a parent's phone with a teen driver's phone using a simple 6-character code. The moment driving speed is detected, distracting apps lock through Apple Screen Time. No reminders, no nagging, no willpower required.
AI DRIVER CHECK
Photo checks run only after both the parent has confirmed how they work and the teen has agreed on their own phone. With that permission, DriverLock sends a driver or cabin photo and available setup selfies through its service to OpenAI, which keeps them for up to 30 days under its published API policy. Checks can be unsure and may involve a second model or connection retries. Setup selfies stay protected on the linked phone until replaced or removed; they are comparison references, not verified real-world identity. Teens can remove them and withdraw consent in Settings without a parent PIN. Parents see setup status and relevant results, not setup or check photos.
A DASHBOARD BOTH OF YOU CAN SEE
Drive scores, clean-drive streaks, and safety flags appear in a shared family feed. Your teen sees exactly the same feed you do. This is proof, not surveillance, and that fairness is what makes it work.
TRIP HISTORY, NOT A TRACKING TRAIL
Every drive shows distance, top speed, and total locked time. During a drive, parents see where the car is on a map. After it parks, only the parked spot stays. Nothing is shared between drives, and DriverLock never stores routes or location history. You get evidence of safe driving habits, not a map of your teen's life.
SAFETY IS NEVER BLOCKED
Calls and emergency services always stay available. Maps and music keep working too unless you choose to include them. Which apps lock is chosen once on your teen's phone, and every other rule can be changed remotely at any time.

One subscription covers your family, including multiple teen drivers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.
