Live captions with translation, AI help that tells you what is in front of you, Read Aloud for signs and menus, and a phone that buzzes when someone says your name. Relay is an accessibility assistant for people who are Deaf, hard of hearing, blind, or have low vision. It works on its own and pairs with the free Relay desktop app. ON YOUR PHONE • Blind Mode: hold the screen, ask a question, and hear what is in front of you, with directions like "door at 2 o'clock". • Quick Ask: one tap to identify money, colors, expiry dates, and signs. • Read Aloud: point the camera at a sign, menu, label, or page and Relay reads it to you, translated if you need. • Live Captions: large, real-time captions of the conversation around you, with optional live translation and type-to-speak replies. • Name Alert: your phone vibrates and highlights the caption when someone says your name. • Catch Me Up: one tap summarizes what you missed, including anything asked of you. • Conversation: lay the phone between you and another person for a face-to-face chat, translated both ways. • Find My Object: say what you lost and taps get stronger as your camera gets closer to it. • Feel the Conversation: for DeafBlind users, speech nearby becomes short Braille vibrations. • Braille: a six-dot Braille keyboard and a haptic Braille reader you feel through vibration. • Quick Phrases: show or speak ready-made messages like "I am Deaf, please write it down." • Loud Sound Alert: your phone flashes and vibrates on loud sounds. Runs fully on your phone. WITH YOUR COMPUTER Pair with the free Relay desktop app (Mac, Windows, Linux) by scanning a QR code. • Sound Alerts: feel a vibration when your computer hears an alarm, knock, or other important sound. • Caption Mirror: follow your computer's live captions on your phone, translated into your language if you want, as large as you like. • Night Guard: if your computer hears a smoke alarm at night, your phone strobes its flashlight and vibrates until you wake. • Classroom Broadcast: every paired phone gets the teacher's captions in its own language. • Remote Mic: put your phone near the person talking for clearer captions on your computer. BUILT FOR ACCESSIBILITY Large touch targets and spoken guidance on every screen. Works with VoiceOver and TalkBack. Six languages: English, Spanish, French, Hindi, Mandarin, and Arabic. PRIVACY No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Camera photos and audio are only sent for processing when you use a feature that needs them, and Relay does not store them. Relay is an aid, not a replacement for a cane, guide dog, or professional interpreter.
