Walk for coins, play the 90s
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Drop by once a day for mom's 100-won allowance! Then walk for coins: grandma's street snacks, game diskettes, a capsule globe refilled every morning and an old textbook.
A pedometer that brings a little 90s shop to life. Clip it on and walk: every 1,000 steps drops a toy coin into a clay piggy bank and lights a bulb on the shop sign. Spend the coins in a corner shop full of school-day things, each one a handmade clay figure that moves frame by frame like an old claymation.
Walk, and the coins clink
Up to ten coins a day. Connect Health and steps from your Apple Watch count too. Your steps never leave your device. Run short, and grandma says so: "Short a coin, dear. Walk a little and come back."
Mom's allowance and a coin a play
Drop by once a day and mom slips you a 100-won allowance. The whack-a-mole box and each floppy game give two free plays, then take one 100-won coin a play, just like the capsule machine. When coins run low, you can choose to watch an ad for grandma's 50-won change: two make 100 won, up to six a day. Coin packs are for sale too, but walking and the daily notice are plenty to play every day.
Grandma's snacks and stationery
Grandma sits by her brazier in front of the shop. Buy ten old street snacks with the coins you walked for: chewy strips, dalgona, fish buns, sweet pancakes, grilled filefish, rice cake skewers, sugar corn dogs, cotton candy, star candies and cup tteokbokki. Melt dalgona in the ladle, press a shape and carve it out with a needle. She keeps the stationery shelf too: save coins and whack-a-mole tickets for game diskettes and music tapes.
The old computer
Switch it on: it counts memory, beeps, and shows C:\>. Floppies hold chiptune games: SNAKE, BRICKS, RAIN, and from grandma's shelf MOLE, MAZE, STAR GUARD and CROSSING. Every game hides a secret. Music tapes play on the jukebox diskette.
The daily notice
Three small errands a day: a walk, a phone call, a page of the old textbook. A coin for each, a sticker for all three. Fill a sticker board and hang it on the wall.
Fitness card and certificates
Today's walk as laps of the school track and flights of school stairs. Earn 19 certificates, from 10,000 steps in a day to snapping five pencil leads.
Capsules and whack-a-mole
Drop a coin, turn the handle, twist the capsule open for one of 16 school-shop treasures. The odds are shown on the machine. The globe empties through the day and grandma fills it again each morning, sometimes with a gold capsule inside. Bonk moles with the squeaky hammer to win tickets.
The old textbook
Open it and a red ribbon marks today's page. A school year in 44 short lessons, from the first day to the last.
Things to touch
Dial the rotary phone and grandma rings once a day. Type on the typewriter until the bell rings. Emboss labels and hang one on the sign. Sharpen pencils in a silver train, beat chalk out of the eraser, and count down to your days on a split-flap board.
No sign-up, no tracking. Your steps and health data never leave your device. Ads show only when you pick one for grandma's 50-won change, and coin packs are optional. If you like, one gentle reminder on evenings you haven't dropped by.
