NightEar turns two phones or tablets you already own into a baby monitor. One stays in the nursery and listens, the other goes with you and lets you hear what's going on. Everything stays on your own Wi-Fi, encrypted, with no account and no ads.
HEAR WHAT'S GOING ON
• Live sound from the nursery, with about half a second of delay. Also with your screen locked.
• Softer when it is quiet: between sounds the room plays more softly.
• You choose how sensitive, and how long a sound must last. The baby phone learns a fan or a heater by itself.
ALERTS
• An alert for sound in the nursery.
• Crying recognized: when the sound is like crying, you see "Your baby is crying". That happens on the phone itself.
• A loud alarm when the connection drops. After 3 seconds without a signal your screen turns orange, after 10 seconds the alarm sounds.
• You see the baby phone's battery, and get an alert if the charger comes loose or the battery runs low.
TALK AND WATCH
• Hold Talk and your voice plays in the nursery.
• Watch: a live picture of the nursery, while NightEar is open on the baby phone. With Night view for a dark room.
THE NIGHT AT A GLANCE
The night log shows when there was sound, how long your baby cried and whether the connection held. Only times, never sound.
PAIR WITH A QR CODE
Open NightEar on both phones, pick baby phone and parent phone and scan the code. The next evening they find each other by themselves. Up to four phones can listen in.
EVERYTHING STAYS IN YOUR HOME
Sound and picture only go between your own paired phones, over your own Wi-Fi, encrypted. Nothing is recorded. No server, no account, no tracking.
WORKS WITH
iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or later, in any combination. An Android phone with NightEar can join in too. Both on the same Wi-Fi network.
SAFE USE
Place the baby phone at least 3 feet (1 meter) from the crib and keep the cable out of reach. Put it in flight mode with Wi-Fi on. Test the alarm before you go to sleep.
