Turn the stream. Find your way home. Guide a little paper boat home across turquoise water and through lovingly crafted paper landscapes. Paper Boat: River Journey is a calm puzzle game in which a few simple moves bring a river to life, accompanied by gentle sound and animation. 192 JOURNEYS ACROSS 24 CHAPTERS HOW TO PLAY Tap a waterway tile to rotate it 90° clockwise. Every tile stays in its place – all that matters is finding the right orientation. Water enters at START on the left and leaves the board at EXIT above the dock. Connect the boat to the next numbered stop and tap “Set sail”. The boat waits patiently at every stop while you prepare the next stretch of the river. Along the way, collect parcels and flags in the right order before you moor at the dock. Mistakes are easy to fix: Undo reverses a rotation or an entire sailing leg, and Reset starts the journey over. If you ever get stuck, hints highlight the right tiles and show a glowing path to the next stop. Long press any tile to learn more about it. A gentle introduction helps you get started. WHAT AWAITS YOU ON THE RIVER With every chapter, the river grows more varied. Immovable stone islands must be navigated around, and waves turn waterways while fixed tiles stay put. Sluices open and close when the boat reaches the switch with the matching letter – and later switches may close gates that are already open. Linked tiles with the same number turn together, and dry waterways only fill once the boat has reached the marked stop. Later on, fallen logs block the way until you collect the axe with the matching number. Before a low bridge, you must lower the mast at the marked stop, and current switches reverse the flow on tiles with the matching number. Water lilies close a channel once the boat has passed, so plan your way back with care. Matching whirlpools carry your boat to an entirely different part of the river, and at T-junctions two currents meet, their shared outlet waiting to be pointed toward the next stop. ADS AND HINTS Ads may appear between levels. If you like, watch a video ad to earn three hint credits. An optional one-time purchase removes all ads and unlocks unlimited step hints. Turn the stream.
