Trailyear is the race calendar for trail running in Switzerland and the Alps. See which races are coming up, save yours and plan your year.
Find races
More than 100 events in Switzerland, France, Italy, Austria and Germany, from verticals to ultras. The Jura and the Vosges are included. Search by name or place, typos welcome, and filter by month, distance, elevation gain and country. The map shows where each race starts.
Everything about a race
Date, start time, distance, elevation gain, cut-off and entry fee on one page. When the organiser publishes a GPX file, Trailyear draws the course on the map and shows the elevation profile. Send the file to your watch or another app with one tap. A note per race stays private.
Your race year
Every race gets a status: saved, lottery, not drawn, registered, withdrawn, finished or DNF. The start screen shows your year as a band across twelve months. Below it are the deadlines with the days left: entry opens, lottery closes, draw.
With friends
Invite friends with a link. You then see which races they have saved and where they are registered. Your notes stay yours. There are no public profiles and no search for people.
Checked data
Trailyear reads the organisers' websites every week. Every change is checked by hand before it shows up in the app. You register with the organiser, Trailyear links you there.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
See which races your friends are running: the friends list shows how many races each friend has coming up and which one is next. Tap a friend to open their race year with the year band and status. Where you are starting too, it says "You too".
