THE REAL GAME
Rack your tiles. Run the Charleston. Watch the discards. Call a tile when it finishes a group. Use your jokers. Declare Mahjong when your hand matches a line on the card.
The game follows the rules for you, so nobody has to be the one who checks.
THE CLUB CARD
American Mahjong comes with The Club Card, an original card made for this game. Open it beside the table, choose the line you are going for, and put it away when you want a clear view of the tiles. An optional Card Helper marks lines that fit the tiles you hold.
Want a card of your own? The Card Builder lets you make, name and save your own, and it checks every hand for you.
LEARN AT YOUR OWN PACE
Short lessons, a few minutes each, cover the tiles, the card, setting up, the Charleston, taking a turn, calling, jokers and winning. Come back to any lesson whenever you like.
PLAY YOUR WAY
- Single player against bots: Easy, Standard or Hard.
- Pass and play: share one screen with two to four people.
- Online with friends: one person creates a table and shares the five-letter code. Friends join from a phone, a tablet or a web browser.
- Fill empty seats with bots, and save a table to finish it later.
- Against bots, Undo takes back your last move.
- Voice chat at online tables is off until you turn it on, and you can mute anyone.
THE DAILY WALL
Everyone gets the same tiles each day. You get one scored try, with stars and a streak to keep, and a leaderboard to see how you did. Then practice that wall as often as you like.
MAKE THE ROOM YOURS
Walk around a warm club room. Choose your table, felt, racks and tile set, then dress the bookshelves the way you like.
The lessons, the bots and the Card Builder work without an internet connection. Online tables and the Daily Wall leaderboard need one.
