A tribute to the classic digital watches we grew up with: 22 live faces for your Home Screen. Tap a widget to light the display, just like pressing the button. Kasio Faces is a love letter to the little digital watches that outlived every trend: resin cases, grey LCDs, tiny printed labels, and a button that lights the display for a moment. We are open about it: these faces are an homage to classic Casio digital watches. Kasio Faces is an independent app. It is not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Casio, and it uses no Casio code, logos, fonts or artwork files. Every face is redrawn from scratch, carries our own “Kasio” name instead of the original wordmark, and uses free, open-licensed fonts. The rugged-style faces are called “C-Shock”. What you get • 22 live faces, each as its own Home Screen widget: chrome and black resin cases, negative displays, calculator and databank styles, and a rugged line. • Real clocks. The time runs live to the second, and a “Kasio of the Day” widget picks a different face for you each day. • Tap to light. Tap a widget and the display glows in that face’s own colour, from mint to blue-green to ice-blue. • Large widgets on top of the usual sizes, so a face can fill your screen. • Apple Watch complication for the Apple Watch, so a retro face can sit on your wrist too.
