EduWin is a friendly and safe educational app created for children in Romania, from the preparatory class up to grade 8. With Lumio, a cheerful little light-bulb mascot who guides children patiently with helpful hints, young learners discover that studying can be as engaging as playing a game.
Every activity is designed for short sessions of 5 to 10 minutes a day, following the structure of the Romanian school curriculum: reinforcing classroom lessons without stress or ads. The app is in Romanian.
WHAT YOU WILL FIND IN EDUWIN
Preparatory class (grade 0)
• Guided tracing of letters and numbers to build fine motor skills.
• Voice exercises: the child says the answer aloud and the app recognizes it in Romanian.
• Instructions can be read aloud, for children who cannot read yet.
• Memory games, geometric shapes and animals.
Grades 1-4
• Romanian language: vocabulary, spelling, syllables, parts of speech, reading comprehension.
• Mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and illustrated word problems.
• Natural sciences: plants, animals, celestial bodies and the environment.
• English (from grade 3), civics and first notions of informatics.
• Step-by-step explanations on mistakes, so children understand the reasoning too.
Grades 5-8
• Romanian language: morphology, syntax, vocabulary and literary texts.
• Mathematics: numbers and operations, fractions, equations, geometry and functions.
• Foreign languages: English, French, German and Spanish; foreign-language words can be read aloud by the phone's voice.
• Biology, physics, chemistry, geography, history and informatics, with exercises for each lesson.
Educational games
• Mini-games where play reinforces what was learned in lessons.
Listen
• Each grade's lessons read aloud, and grades 0-4 also have stories to listen to.
• The text is highlighted as the voice reads.
• Episodes can be downloaded and played offline.
Spaced repetition and healthy habits
• Concepts that need review reappear at the right intervals until mastered.
• A daily XP goal, a daily streak and streak freezes that save it if you miss a day.
• A weekly leaderboard with nicknames, with no penalties for breaks.
SAFETY AND PRIVACY
• No ads.
• We do not ask for a real name, email, phone number or photos.
• Anonymous profile: the app generates a nickname for the class leaderboard.
• Parent consent on first launch; account deletion is guarded by an adult question.
• Data can be erased at any time from the Profile screen.
• Works offline once a grade's lessons are downloaded.
