New in 1.2: Hero Defense grows to 18 levels of monster waves with shops, and Pyramid Escape comes to the Arena. Race friends through three challenges for the top score! Blast Pals is a cute, chaotic bomb-dropping adventure where you also carry guns. Play solo, or team up with up to 4 pals on the same wifi or online, and blast your way through six worlds, each with a boss waiting at the end, then escape the pyramid's challenges and hold the line at Hero Defense. HAVE BOMBS WILL TRAVEL • Drop bombs, push them so they slide across the board, and grab power-ups for more bombs, bigger fire, speed, shields and hearts. • Jump! Hop two cells over a block, a wall, a bomb, a monster or a gap. • Six guns to collect and reload by hand: Six-Shooter, 10-Shooter, 12-Shooter, Shotgun, Machine Gun and Laser Gun. • Moving platforms, saw blades, spike traps and rolling blades keep every stage lively. BOSS FIGHTS Every world ends with a boss you take down alone or as a team: Grumbleroot the Ent, Big Bloom the Bull, Pharaoh Purrseus, Captain Inky the Kraken, Queen Glitterfang and King Puffcloud the Sky Dragon. Save all five lands to finish the airship and fly to the Floating Castle. AN ALTERNATE REALITY Once the final boss falls, the stone circle on the World Map opens. Travel back in time for a fresh run, or step into an alternate reality: five strange new lands, tougher monsters, new bosses, everything under an orange sky. BLASTTOWN Collect wood, rock and sand on your trips and bring them home to BlastTown. Build the Hospital, Armory, Gunsmith, Library and more for perks on every trip, craft potions and cartridges, and piece together the airship. PYRAMID ESCAPE East of BlastTown stands a pyramid with seven co-op escape challenges, and every visit throws your team into three of them. Wind out of the Spiral past saws, spikes and gaps, outrun three Boulders down a zigzag hallway, duck behind pillars as Bombs Away slides bombs out of the walls, hold four hallways in Hold the Line, dig up every treasure in the Treasure Hunt, trade sliding bombs with the monsters in Slide Dodge Bombs, and break the blocks in order in Bomb Sequence. Everyone goes in with a single heart, and every pal still standing has to make it down the stairs. Beat them and the Mummy's chamber opens, where a giant Mummy calls up spiders and snakes. The pals are ranked after every visit, and escapes earn gold coins to spend at BlastTown's new Marketplace. HERO DEFENSE South-east of BlastTown stands a small castle. Monsters march down one hallway per pal toward a floor of fire plates: hold the line for 32 seconds on a single heart, and the stairs open once the last of them is beaten. ARENA Last pal standing wins. Fight friends on your wifi or online, AI bots, or a mix of both, on 12 themed maps, including Sky Docks with its moving platforms and saw blades. Friendly fire is on, and a few of each land's monsters roam the map too. PLAY TOGETHER • Network co-op for up to 4 pals, one per device, on the same wifi or anywhere online with a six-character room code. • Friends watch the host pick the next stop on the World Map and see everything the host builds in BlastTown. • Give a knocked-out pal one of your hearts to get them back on their feet. • No accounts, no sign-in. Touch controls made for phones and tablets: a joystick wherever your thumb lands, and SHOOT, BOMB and JUMP buttons on the right. Game controllers work too.
