Translavia helps you communicate across languages on your iPhone. Choose your language and the language you want to translate to, then use spoken translations for individual phrases or two-way conversations.

SPOKEN TRANSLATIONS
Hear translations aloud and read the accompanying text. Choose spoken playback or use text-only mode when you prefer.
OPTIONAL ON-DEVICE VOICE MATCHING
Enroll your voice to help Translavia distinguish you from the other speaker and select the translation direction. Your voice profile stays on your iPhone. Matching is an estimate, not an identity or security check, and you can correct the speaker selection.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS
An internet connection, microphone permission, a configured translation server and a valid server access token are required. Translation is not available offline.
Conversation audio is sent to the configured server and OpenAI for processing. On-device voice matching does not make the translation service offline.
Translation accuracy can vary with background noise, pronunciation and context. Check important translations, and do not rely on the app for emergencies or decisions requiring a qualified interpreter.
