This is great so far, and I hope to see future updates bring it together. This really strongly recreates the feel of using a real notebook, especially on the Duo. This app has so many loving touches and features that make it feel like a flash back to the skeuomorphic bliss we used to have in the early 2000s. I suggest playing around with the cover of the book, the developers put a fidget toy on it for everyone to enjoy! There are a couple features that would be cool to see added, such as brush stabilisation for Apple Pencil with adjustments (since a tiny bit of brush stabilisation or motion filtering would help significantly with shaky people handwriting!)It’d also be nice to see the ability to create more notebooks, kinda how microsoft’s note thing works. Maybe a bookshelf where you can swap them out? The final thing I’d like is the ability to custom-scroll into the documents with pinch gestures. As someone who is visually impaired, it’s sometimes hard to read text at a size that makes sense to write. Either a zoom slider or a pinch-zoom would be lovely to have! Those suggestions aside, this app is wonderful, and I am glad I bought it! I look forward to seeing it evolve!

Honestly, this has potential to be an incredible app. I’m not sure how this functions on other phones, but I am on an iPhone duo. The main thing that I see prevents me from making this my full-time note taking app is I very much dislike how everything is in one notebook. Very rare in life will you ever use one notebook across different topics. I will submit some feedback to the developers as I use it further of any frustrations or glitches or anything like that, but the number one thing right now this app needs is on the very front homepage. There should be an option to switch notebooks. That way, if I want a notebook that I use only for church, a notebook I only use for math class, and a notebook I only use for ____________, then I want to be able to click on that notebook and then everything can literally stay the same. It’s nice being able to flip to the last page used, just like you would in a normal folder, but what is not normal and very frustrating is trying to use the same notebook for multiple topics. It is not realistic, and everybody has a different folder or notebook for different topics. It would be nice to be able to change not only the notebook, but just like there are different composition notebook colors, it would be nice to be able to change the different notebooks and even see them in a picture view that we can write our own title on the outside cover just like a normal composition book. I would actually use this for my studies and several other things because of all of the features. If I could simply choose notebooks and not jump to the page

Just go download this app! It is so fun and delightful! I find myself opening the app just to play with the elastic band on the cover — like a little fidget toy. My wife saw it and sat there playing with it for like 3 minutes. The fonts are pretty (not all for me), and the notebook just hits the right balance of features mimicking real Moleskine-type notebooks combined writing with a good pen (the ink colors are fantastic). I have yet to create my handwriting as a font, but I hope I can export it and create multiples!

I don’t have the iPhone Duo (wish I did!), but this app looked so adorable that I had to try it on my regular iPhone. And I must say, it is the cutest little notebook! One of my favorite features is the ability to create your own handwriting font. I used my iPad to write out my letters, numbers, and punctuation, and now I can see my actual handwriting inside this tiny digital notebook. How cute is that? It really gives the notebook a personal touch. There are also other handwriting styles to choose from.I love the little details, especially the realistic page-turning animation. It actually feels like flipping through a miniature notebook! You can organize your notes with a table of contents, jump directly to different sections, and choose whether the notebook opens where you left off or displays your bookmarks. You can also add photos, draw with your finger, sync through iCloud, and even set the notebook to close automatically after a certain amount of time. It doesn’t appear to be optimized for my larger iPad, but that’s perfectly fine with me. I actually love having something designed specifically for my iPhone. Now, here’s my one suggestion to the developers: Please don’t lose the beauty of simplicity!I’ve seen so many wonderful apps start out with a simple purpose, only to become overloaded with features until they’re overwhelming to use. Sometimes less really is more.Would I enjoy having a simple to-do list? Absolutely! But I wouldn’t want this little notebook to become another complicated productivity app.I already have plenty of sophisticated digital notebooks that I use for business and work. This one serves an entirely different purpose. It’s for those moments when I’m lying in bed and a thought crosses my mind, when I want to remember something, capture an idea, or write a quick journal entry without navigating a dozen menus. That’s what makes this app special. It’s quick, personal, charming, and wonderfully uncomplicated.Of course, everyone has different preferences, but for me, this little notebook is exactly what I want it to be.Not every app needs to do everything. Sometimes the magic is in doing one simple thing beautifully.Hats off to the developers! You’ve created something truly delightful. Please keep its charm!
