Woodland Ways

Turn paths. Find a way home.

Free

Tap to turn the paths and connect the whole woodland to the central cottage. Study the exits, join neighboring roads, and find a complete network with no loops. Start with three tutorials, then work through nine puzzles across three chapters. After all three chapters, your home page brings together the Daily Path, your unfinished game, new puzzles, the fixed library, and collection invitations. There are 100 fixed puzzles in total. Choose Boundaries · Easy, Connections · Medium, or Assumptions · Hard to generate fresh offline puzzles, each checked for a unique solution. The Daily Path is generated offline from your device date. Players on the same version get the same network on the same day. Regular new puzzles exclude the fixed library and previously generated networks; rotating or reflecting a network does not make it new. You can retry if no suitable new puzzle is found. Tap once to rotate clockwise. Trees and small animals stay upright while the paths turn. Undo a move, restart the same puzzle, or read a rule-based hint before revealing the exits. Aim for a Gold Leaf by finishing without help in the minimum number of moves. Undo does not subtract rotations from your move count. Your Forest journal keeps completion stamps, chapter milestones, and personal goals. Each distinct network earns one collection invitation on its first completion, and one more on its first perfect completion. Choose from 150 trees, flowers, plants, and small animals to collect and arrange in your woodland. Replaying a network does not award more invitations. Play offline with no account, no ads, and no countdown. New puzzles, play history, the board, moves, and achievements save automatically on your device, ready to resume when you reopen the app. Unfinished puzzles keep undo history; completed puzzles keep their final board and score. Day and night themes can follow your system or be selected manually. iPad layouts enlarge the board to suit the available space, with the board and controls side by side in landscape. Display settings also offer Older phone mode, which uses simple road graphics. Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, English, and Japanese are supported throughout puzzle titles, hints, reasoning records, achievements, and collection names. The app follows your system language preferences and uses English if none match. There is no in-app language setting. There is no app-operated cross-device sync or save import/export. System backups and device transfers depend on your operating system and settings.
