Most weather apps blend several forecasts into one number and hide the disagreement. Chorus shows it.
Chorus compares the world’s leading forecast models side by side: ECMWF (the European Centre), the US GFS, Germany’s ICON and the UK Met Office. Then it gives you one clear verdict:
• Agree: the models tell the same story.
• Mixed: they differ a little. Worth a second look.
• Split: they disagree. Keep your plans flexible.
It’s a second opinion for the weather app you already use, not a replacement for it.
ONE GLANCE, ONE VERDICT
The top of the screen tells you whether the models agree right now, and what they disagree about: “Models disagree on whether it’ll rain soon”, “One model disagrees on temperature”.
SEE EVERY MODEL
The 24-hour chart draws each model’s own forecast line, with a band coloured by how much they agree, hour by hour. Drag along it to explore. A rain view shows how many models expect rain each hour, and how much.
THE WEEK AHEAD
Seven days, each with its own verdict, plus the day the models are least sure about. Expand any day to see each model’s high, low and rain.
THE ODD ONE OUT
See where every model sits right now, and which one is the outlier.
MET OFFICE 2 KM DETAIL
Across the UK, Ireland and nearby parts of Europe, the Met Office forecast uses its high-resolution 2 km model for the next couple of days.
CHORUS PLUS
• Widgets for your Home Screen and Lock Screen that show whether the forecast agrees: quiet when the models agree, loud when they split.
• Choose which models to compare, including Japan’s JMA and Canada’s GEM, and which forecast to follow.
• Save up to 20 places.
Chorus Plus is available yearly, with a 1-week free trial, or monthly. Family Sharing is supported.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. Your location is rounded to about 2 km on your phone before it’s used, and it’s never stored.
Forecast data from ECMWF, NOAA, DWD, the UK Met Office, JMA and ECCC via Open-Meteo.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings.
