Who's using the washing machine right now? HouseTurns shows what's free at home at a glance, and you can claim it right away. Who has the washing machine? Is the bathroom free? HouseTurns tells you right away, without scrolling through the group chat. HouseTurns is made for student houses, families and co-living groups that share things and spaces. Everyone sees live what's free or taken, and one tap makes it yours. FAST • "Use now": press and hold the washing machine, dryer or kitchen and it's yours right away. • Done early? Tap "Done" and everyone sees it's free again. • Live status on every tile: Free, You or Taken until 19:30. FAIR • Book ahead, up to 60 days, with a week calendar and a timeline per day. • Set rules per resource: maximum duration, available hours and how many bookings someone may hold at once. • For the guest room or the car: let an admin approve requests. USEFUL NOTIFICATIONS • A reminder before your booking starts. • A nudge when your time is up. • "The kitchen is free again": follow a busy resource and hear the moment it frees up. • Turn each type on or off yourself. FOR EVERY HOUSEHOLD • Pick Student house, Family, Co-living or Other and start with smart default resources. • Add anything you share, from a bike to a game console, with your own icon and colour. • Invite housemates with a link or a 6-character code. • In more than one group? Switch between them easily. PRIVACY • No ads. • Turn off usage statistics and crash reports with one switch. • Delete your account and data yourself, right in the app. Available in English, Dutch, French and German: the app automatically follows your phone's language.
