SafeKids helps parents manage their children's iPhone and iPad with Apple's Screen Time features, simply and transparently. One purchase, no subscription, no ads.
TIME AND SCHEDULES
• Ready-made time slots (night, school, homework, dinner) or your own: during active slots the chosen apps lock by themselves.
• A daily limit on the apps and categories you choose.
• Time limits for single apps or categories, like Games or Social.
• Your child can ask for more time with one tap: you get the request and give 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or say no.
• Three modes you can switch anytime: Kid (rules apply), Lock (everything blocked except always-allowed apps) and Parent (no restrictions).
WEB FILTER AND RESTRICTIONS
• Adult website filter and websites blocked by your choice.
• Block in-app purchases, app installs and deletion, explicit content and multiplayer games.
• Block all internet when a break is needed.
• Block TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other social apps with one tap, right from your phone.
LOCATION AND ZONES
• See where your child is, with the accuracy margin.
• Their route over the last 7 days, day by day.
• Zones like home and school: get an alert when they arrive or leave.
• If location is turned off or limited, you know right away.
PHOTO SAFETY
• New photos are analyzed on your child's phone with Apple's sensitive content technology. If there's possible nudity you get an alert: photos never leave the device and you never see them.
TWO PARENTS, SEVERAL CHILDREN
• Invite the other parent with a QR code: manage all your children together.
• Connect your child's phone by scanning a QR code.
• Works with and without Apple Family Sharing.
PRIVACY, FOR REAL
• No servers of ours, no account to create: data travels only between your family's devices through iCloud.
• The developer can't see your children's data or location.
• No ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics.
• Your child always sees what is shared with you.
On your child's phone the settings are protected by a parent PIN. With Family Sharing authorization your child can't delete SafeKids or remove its permissions without you.
Requirements: iOS 16 or later on parent and child devices; an iCloud account on each device. The route map and photo alerts require iOS 17.
