Tauko is a simple headache diary. Log a headache in a few taps, add the details when you feel better, and take a clear report to your doctor or nurse.
Made for people in Finland who live with migraine or other headaches and keep a diary for their care. Works in 13 languages.
LOG IT IN A FEW TAPS
• Tap “I have a headache”, choose how bad it is (mild, moderate or severe) and what you have taken. That’s all.
• The quick log screen stays dark and dim, with large buttons and no animation.
• While the headache lasts, Today shows how long it has been going on. Change the intensity, add a medicine or tap “It’s over”.
• Finish it later, step by step: start and end, whether each medicine helped after 2 hours, symptoms and aura, possible triggers, how much it affected you, and notes. You can skip any step.
SEE YOUR MONTH
• The calendar shades each day by its strongest headache and marks the days with rescue medicine.
• A day without an entry is marked unknown (?) and counted as “no data” in the report, never as “no headache”.
• Each month counts your mild, moderate and severe days. Today shows your week and how many of the last 30 days you have recorded.
• If you track your cycle, you can also mark your period days in the calendar.
ONE-TAP REMINDERS
• An evening question at the time you choose: “Have you had a headache today?” Answer “No” right from the notification.
• If a headache is still going, Tauko can ask again later: up to three times, never at night.
• Optional: a daily reminder for your preventive treatment, with a “Taken” button in the notification.
A REPORT FOR YOUR DOCTOR
• Choose 1 month, 3 months or your own period of up to 6 months.
• The PDF shows days recorded, headache days, moderate or severe days, days with rescue medicine by type, relief after 2 hours, symptoms, triggers, impact on daily life and a calendar. Days without data are shown as such, not counted as headache-free.
• Add your name and year of birth if you want. The report can be in a different language from the app.
• Share it with the share menu, or tap “Send to my doctor” to open a new email with the PDF attached. You check the message and send it yourself.
YOUR DIARY STAYS ON YOUR iPHONE
• No account and no sign-in.
• The app does not connect to the internet.
• No ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party code that sends data.
• Sozo Labs never receives your data.
• If iCloud Backup is on, your diary is included in your iPhone’s backup. Your name, year of birth and doctor’s email are marked to be left out of backups.
• Lock the app with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.
• “Delete all my data” removes everything from this iPhone.
Common medicines in Finland are ready to pick, and you can add any other medicine by name.
Tauko records and summarizes what you enter. It does not diagnose, warn or recommend treatment, and it is not a substitute for advice from your doctor or nurse. In an emergency, call 112.
Free, with no ads and no in-app purchases. Made by Sozo Labs.
