Bible by Length
Reading plans of even length
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Read the whole Bible with about the same amount each day. Plans are cut by length, not chapter count, so no day is 33 words and the next 2,598. Free, no ads.
Bible by Length divides the Bible by how long each reading takes, not by how many chapters it has.
Chapters are wildly uneven. Psalm 117 is 33 words; Psalm 119 is 2,598. A chapter-a-day plan swings between the two. Here every day is close to the same length, so a one-year plan is about 11 minutes of reading, every day, from Genesis to Revelation.
LENGTH-BALANCED PLANS
• Choose 90 days, 6 months, 1 year or 2 years.
• Interleaved (the default) gives you a portion of the Old Testament, the Psalms and Prophets, and the New Testament each day.
• Or read straight through: Even length, Even effort (denser books get lighter days), Topical sections, or Whole chapters.
• See how even your plan is, compared with a plain chapter-count plan.
• Fall behind and a catch-up spreads what's left over the remaining days, keeping your finish date.
• Change plans whenever you like. Progress is kept verse by verse, so nothing you've read is lost and nothing counts twice.
