Make everyday communication personal. AAC Talk is an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) app for people who use pictures, words and spoken phrases to express themselves, including autistic people and people with speech or communication difficulties.
SPEAK WITH A TAP
Start with familiar photo buttons and Yes/No choices. Tap a button to speak its phrase, or open related choices for food, drinks, activities and everyday needs.
MAKE THE BOARD YOURS
• Create unlimited customized buttons.
• Use your own photos or choose built-in icons.
• Give each button a label and its own words to speak.
• Organize related choices and reorder buttons.
• Choose two, three or four columns to suit your screen.
A VOICE THAT FITS
Choose from available iPhone and iPad voices and adjust speaking speed. The interface and starter boards support 28 languages. Your own phrases stay as you wrote them when you change the app language. Everyday communication works offline with an appropriate installed voice.
PARENT AND CAREGIVER CONTROLS
Protect editing and settings with a parent PIN. Customize the board in a dedicated Parent Area, while keeping the communication screen focused on speaking.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No app account, ads or analytics. Boards and photos stay on your device, with no app-managed cloud synchronization.
FREE FIVE-DAY TRIAL. OPTIONAL PERMANENT UNLOCK.
The app is free to download and preview. Activate the free five-day trial through Apple to speak and edit. After five days, speaking and button editing require the optional one-time permanent unlock. There is no subscription, automatic renewal or automatic charge when the trial ends. Apple's current localized unlock price is shown in the app before trial activation or purchase.
Your buttons and photos stay saved after the trial. Settings and Restore purchase remain available. Restore purchase restores eligible access through your Apple Account; it does not recover deleted boards or photos.
