Subchest keeps track of your subscriptions, installment plans and mortgages. Every payment is converted into a monthly amount, so you can see at a glance what you spend per month, including yearly, quarterly and installment payments.
What you can do
- Add a subscription by choosing the duration first, then how often you pay.
- Search a built-in catalog of more than 230 services to fill in name, category and icon, or enter the details yourself.
- Track an installment plan from 1 to 100 installments, picking the number with a wheel, and see how many are left and when it ends.
- Add a mortgage: enter the years, the amount and the rate and Subchest works out the payment, the total to repay, the interest and the end date. You can add rate changes and early repayments and browse the amortization schedule. The figures are indicative and do not replace your bank's schedule.
- Split a subscription between several people: only your share counts in the totals.
- Mark a free trial: the cost is zero until the trial ends and you get a reminder before the first charge.
- See the history of price changes and the increases of the past year.
- Choose automatic renewal on or off, with a final end date or without one.
- Get a reminder before each payment, at the time you choose, with a sound made just for Subchest.
- See your monthly total and upcoming payments in a widget on the Home Screen or Lock Screen.
- See spending across 26 categories in the Stats tab, with an interactive chart, a comparison with last month and the picture of the whole year.
- Pick payment methods from a list of banks, digital wallets, cards and installment services, and open the official app or website with one tap. Subchest does not connect to your accounts: it only opens the official app or website.
- Export and import your data as a CSV file.
- Use the light or dark theme, in Italian or English.
Privacy
Your data stays on your device and in your private iCloud (sync across your own devices, can be turned off). No account is needed, and the app has no ads and no analytics. The only network request to a third party loads a service icon: only the website domain is sent to a Google icon service. The full privacy policy is linked from the App Store page.
