Into the forest without signal: record your walk, mark your spots and follow the arrow back to the car. Photograph a find and learn what it might be. Funga is a forest companion for mushroom pickers. It works where there is no signal: an offline map, your track, the way back to the car and the spots you'll want to find again. OFFLINE FOREST MAP Download the area you're going to at home over Wi‑Fi. In the forest the map, your track, the car and your photos work without a network — just GPS and the compass. NEVER GET LOST Mark where you parked and Funga keeps recording your walk, even with the phone in your pocket. When it's time to go, follow the arrow and the distance straight back to the car, or to the start of the walk. REMEMBER YOUR SPOTS Drop a mark where the mushrooms were, or a caution where there's a bog, windfall or ravine. Add a note and a photo of the place. Next season your spots from earlier walks are waiting on the map. WHAT DID YOU FIND? Photograph a find and Funga suggests the species from the photo, with edibility and look-alikes. No network in the forest? It identifies the find later, when you're back in range. A hint, never a verdict: some deadly mushrooms look like edible ones. Never eat a mushroom because an app said so — when in doubt, ask someone who knows. A LOG OF YOUR WALKS Every walk is saved with its route, distance, time, finds and photos. Share it as a picture: just the shape of the route, so your secret spots stay secret. FUNGA PREMIUM The map, walk recording, the way back to the car and marks are always free. Premium adds unlimited offline map areas and unlimited identifications. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; manage them in your App Store account settings.
