Vitral is a Queens logic puzzle with the glow of stained glass. Place one light in every row, every column and every colored region, and remember: lights never touch, not even diagonally. Light every pane and the whole window shines.
If you love the Queens game, Star Battle or “two not touch” grids, this brain game is made for you. Every puzzle has exactly one solution you can reach by pure logic. No guessing, ever.
• 2,500+ puzzles: 1,000 levels in four difficulties, from relaxing 5×5 boards to expert 11×11 challenges, plus a story campaign, timed trials and a daily puzzle.
• The Cathedral, a narrated campaign: 20 stained-glass windows and 120 puzzles. Help Clara, a master glazier, bring the light back to a darkened cathedral. Every puzzle you solve lights a pane, and a new scene awaits between windows.
• A real difficulty curve: you start in Easy, and each difficulty introduces a new technique. Unlock the next one by completing 100 levels or by passing its trial.
• Timed trials: beat the clock to win a bronze, silver or gold medal. Solve fast and the clock adapts to your pace. One free attempt per day, more with a video.
• A daily puzzle matched to your level, with streaks, reserve candles that save your streak if you miss a day, a monthly calendar and an optional reminder you can turn on in Settings. From the calendar you can play the days you missed (the last week is free).
• Share your solved window: a picture with your time, without giving away the solution.
• Learn as you play: a 10-page step-by-step tutorial, hints that teach (where to look, why, and then the step itself), a technique guide and an animated example for each new technique.
• Automatic X marks, undo and redo, and drag to mark several cells at once.
• Play at your own pace: regular levels have no lives and no time limit. The countdown only appears in the optional trials.
• Light and dark themes, color-blind patterns, high contrast and screen reader support. Available in 12 languages.
• On iPad in landscape and on iPhone Duo, a game panel next to the board: your window's progress, the puzzle's techniques and the controls close at hand. With the Duo half open, every screen is split across both sides of the fold.
• Free to play with ads (an internet connection is required). Vitral Unlimited is a one-time purchase with no subscription: no ads, play offline, unlimited hints, unlimited trial attempts, the whole daily archive and an encrypted copy of your progress in your own iCloud.
How to play this Queens puzzle: each row, each column and each region needs exactly one light, and two lights can never be neighbors. Use deduction to find where every light must go. If you enjoy sudoku, nonograms or other logic puzzles, you will feel right at home.
