Dam Nation
The Great Watershed War
$19.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Beavers, squirrels, raccoons and geese go to war over one river. Build dams, dig canals, flood the enemy. The Ministry of Strategic Moisture regrets nothing.
The Beaver Dominion has approved a modest public infrastructure project on the eastern tributary. The squirrels have filed a petition. The raccoons have filed an invoice. The geese have filed in, honking.
Dam Nation is a real-time strategy game about one river and four nations who all want it. Build a settlement, gather timber and food, raise an army, and then do what beavers do best: build a dam. The water is real. It rises behind your dam, backs up across the valley and pours over anyone who built in the wrong place.
WATER IS THE WEAPON
- Dam a river and the reservoir rises behind it. Flood a squirrel camp, drown a raccoon yard, cut the enemy's road.
- Dig canals across low ground to carry water to dry land. Beavers only claim ground near water, so a canal is new territory.
- Open the gates to send a flood downstream at the right moment. Close them before it reaches your own food stores.
- Watch the weather. Rain fills reservoirs. Storms test your dams. A breached dam is everyone's problem.
FOUR NATIONS, FOUR WAYS TO FIGHT
- The Beaver Dominion: engineers, dams and an uncompromising attitude to drainage.
- The Squirrel Confederacy: canopy bridges, ambushes from the treetops and very long memories.
- The Raccoon Syndicate: thieves, salvage and armoured garbage. Anything you break, they repaint and point back at you.
- The Honking Empire: geese. They fly. They love water. Flooding them only helps.
THE GREAT WATERSHED WAR
- A sixteen-mission beaver campaign in four acts, from a minor administrative disagreement to Total Damination.
- Narrated newsreels from the Ministry of Strategic Moisture open and close every act.
- Skirmish against the computer on purpose-built river maps.
- Three training courses: Basic Training, Field Manoeuvres and Dam Management.
- A unit guide for all fifty-six units: what each one is for, what it beats and what beats it.
- Designed for touch: tap to select, drag to box-select, control groups on screen.
- No accounts, no ads, no tracking.
The Ministry reminds all personnel that victory is mandatory. Survival remains discretionary.
