Promises made in meetings, advice heard on the way, something someone said last night—gone before you know it? DayRecall listens through your day, keeps the speech and turns it into text. In the evening, ask “What did I promise today?” and the answer comes with the original words. A DAY IN YOUR LIFE Head out in the morning and your watch starts listening. 9:40 A client asks for a quote by next Wednesday. 12:30 A colleague recommends a place to visit. 18:10 You promise to call Mom over the weekend. Open DayRecall in the evening and ask “What did I promise today?” Three things, each with its source. Tap to check what was actually said. LISTEN ALL DAY, KEEP THE SPEECH Set your listening hours and Apple Watch starts and stops automatically. On-device speech detection saves only the parts where someone is talking, so quiet periods take up no storage. Your watch keeps recording when your iPhone is away and transfers the recordings when they reconnect. You can also record directly on iPhone or import an audio file. GO BACK TO ANY DAY AND ASK The day’s conversations form a timeline. Pick a day, search for a keyword or ask a question. Answers include the original passages they rely on. TO-DOS SURFACE ON THEIR OWN To-dos, deadlines and meetings mentioned in conversation go into a list for your review. Tap to accept an item and add it to Calendar; you can also sync with Reminders. WHO SAID IT, IN WHICH LANGUAGE See which words are yours and which belong to someone else. Once a conversation in another language has been transcribed, you can translate it into your main language. WHERE YOU WERE, HOW YOU FELT Add places and clues such as sleep and heart rate to your timeline to help bring the moment back. LET AN AI YOU TRUST HELP Apple’s on-device model is the default. If Apple Intelligence is unavailable on your device or in your region, you can connect your own API. You can also share the day’s text with another AI to help you reflect. You’ll be asked for permission before text goes to the cloud. Audio is never sent. YOUR WORDS STAY IN YOUR HANDS No account registration is required. Speech is transcribed on your iPhone, and audio is deleted by default after successful transcription. DayRecall has no server that stores your conversations. Requires iOS 26 or later.
