Face2Face Live Translator turns your phone into a face-to-face interpreter.
Put the phone between you. The top half turns to face the other person: each of you speaks your own language and reads the other in yours, live, as the words are spoken.
JUST THREE BUTTONS
• Tap a language to choose it. Each person picks their own, written in their own language.
• Tap the microphone and speak. Tap again to stop.
• Tap Auto and the phone takes turns by itself whenever someone pauses.
MADE FOR FOLDABLES
On iPhone Duo, open the phone: you read the inner display, and the other person reads and taps the outer display, entirely in their language. Closed, it works on the outer display like on any phone.
WORKS OFFLINE, STAYS PRIVATE
Speech recognition and translation run entirely on your device with Apple's on-device models. Download your languages once and keep talking in Airplane Mode. No account, no ads, no tracking, nothing sent anywhere.

For someone hard of hearing, a noisy street or a face mask: huge, high-contrast captions in one language. Pinch to resize, hold to pause, swipe up to clear, or type and let the phone speak.
