Put a split-flap message board on your TV. Send messages and timed sequences from your iPhone, or from any app on your network.
Rattleboard turns your Apple TV into a split-flap message board. Every flap clatters through its drum, one character at a time, in a black or white finish, with an optional mechanical clack from the TV's speakers.
SEND FROM YOUR PHONE
• Choose Pair a phone on the TV and scan the code with Rattleboard on your iPhone, or with the Camera app.
• Then send messages, colour patterns and timed sequences from the phone, to this TV alone or to a group of boards.
A BOARD OTHER APPS CAN WRITE TO
• The TV runs a small API server on your local network, with its own key, so home automations and scripts can post messages and sequences to it.
• API info shows the address and a QR code; the key stays hidden until you ask.
SEQUENCES ON THE TV ITSELF
• Sequences of up to 100 frames, each with its own hold time and transition, play on the TV without the phone.
MIRROR ANOTHER BOARD
• Show what another Rattleboard on your network is displaying: a desktop, another TV or a phone. Rattleboards nearby are found automatically.
MADE FOR THE BIG SCREEN
• Opens straight to the board, full screen, and keeps the screen awake. Nothing else is drawn on the board.
• Standard, Compact, Large or a custom size, scaled to fit the screen.
• Everything works with the Siri Remote: press Select for the menu, Back to close it.
TRY IT WITHOUT A PHONE
• Demo mode shows a rotating set of sample messages.
