Interrupt a ritual as it releases. Aim past a protector. Guard an execution while its partner prepares revenge. Cursed Gear is a dark fantasy RPG about building a powerful engine and knowing when to change it.
Choose from six heroes, discover equipment sets, and combine relics, keystones and aspects into unusual builds. Follow a 42-encounter campaign, take on Warband contracts, or draft a fresh engine for the Abyss. Atlas adds combat objectives and rotating laws, with first clears tracked for each hero.
The Long Hunt opens after your first Warband clear. Choose between two revealed enemy pairs before each fight. Survive five encounters, then bank your accumulated haul or push onward. Enemy bonds change the rules, and a temporary relic sacrifice breaks up a settled build. The next leg carries your health, your risk and your decisions. After the second leg, new expeditions let you rebind one relic family while keeping its intrinsic effect. Trade family support to pursue a different synergy; preview the build after the sacrifice before committing. From leg three, keepers threaten a marked relic. Protect it at the warned moment, or accept a temporary seal and retrieve it after surviving the replies. Their ordinary plans still demand an answer.
Earn trophy sidegrades and their facets through combat achievements. Master target changes, prepared interrupt windows and revival deadlines. Failure loses unbanked treasure; permanent equipment stays yours.
Play solo offline, or join local-network co-op raids. Progress through play, with no cash purchases, paid progression gate or energy tickets. Idle supplies help between visits; active decisions decide the fights.
