VINYL Deck

Your turntable, live on TV

Only for Apple TV

Apple TV

Your turntable on the big screen: a 3D deck that plays along, the music live, and every song with title and cover – recognised by your own VINYL server. VINYL Deck brings your record player to your TV. A Raspberry Pi next to the turntable streams your records to your home network. VINYL Deck finds it automatically and shows what's playing on a detailed 3D turntable that behaves like the real one: the tonearm lowers into the groove when you drop the needle, the record spins at 33⅓, the cover becomes the label, and at the end of a side the stylus rides the run-out groove. • Music-video camera tour – from the stylus in the groove to a top-down view of the label • Title, artist and album of every song, recognised by your VINYL server • Analogue VU meters in sync with what comes out of your speakers • Live sound through Apple TV, AirPlay speakers and headphones • Status at a glance: recognising, learning a song, playing from memory, side ended • Real-time shadows or smooth motion – your choice • Runs on every Apple TV with tvOS 26; a simplified view on Apple TV HD Try it without a turntable: demo mode plays "Wine" by Anygood. Requires the free, open-source VINYL server on a Raspberry Pi with USB audio at your turntable (guide on GitHub). VINYL Deck itself collects no data.
