Turn a meeting transcript into a summary and action items with Apple Intelligence on a compatible iPhone. Keep the original transcript alongside your generated notes so you can check the details. PRIVATE TRANSCRIPTION, EVEN OFFLINE Recording and transcription happen on your iPhone. Earshot does not upload your audio or transcripts to a transcription server. The Small speech model is included, so you can begin without downloading a model. Optional Turbo gives you another choice of accuracy, speed, memory, and battery use. Installed speech models work offline and support multiple languages. RECORD OR IMPORT Record with the screen locked, or import an audio or video file. Optional transcription while recording saves progress in short sections while Earshot is open. If processing pauses, recording continues and unfinished transcription can be resumed afterward. READ, LISTEN, AND EDIT Play audio alongside the transcript and follow the words as they are spoken. Correct the text, name detected speakers, and use speaker colors and timestamps to follow the conversation. Organize recordings into folders or transcribe again with a different model. PUT YOUR TRANSCRIPT TO WORK Tap the star to use Apple Intelligence on a compatible iPhone: • Clean up filler words, repetitions, and punctuation. • Summarize main topics, key points, and outcomes. • Translate into a language supported by Apple Intelligence on your device. • Extract stated tasks, owners, and deadlines. • Ask questions about the transcript. • Create structured meeting, interview, or lecture notes. • Suggest a title or explain terms and acronyms. Each action explains what it will do before you run it. Your original transcript stays unchanged, and generated versions are saved separately. These tools require Apple Intelligence enabled, a compatible device and language, and Apple's model downloaded and ready. They process your transcript locally, without sending it to Apple's cloud or another AI service. Earshot does not fall back to cloud processing when these tools are unavailable. YOUR WORDS, READY TO SHARE Share the original recording, copy or share transcript text, or export TXT, SRT, and VTT files. Use your text in documents and subtitles in videos. USE YOUR PREFERRED AI APP For another way to work with a transcript, swipe left on a recording and tap AI. Choose cleanup, summary, action items, or translation. Earshot prepares the text and instructions, then opens the iPhone share menu so you can choose a compatible app or action, such as ChatGPT when available. Translation requests can name another language or dialect supported by your chosen AI app. Destinations depend on your installed apps and what they accept. This is a sharing workflow, not a built-in connection to every service. Online AI services process shared text in their cloud under their own privacy terms and may charge separate fees. You decide whether and where to send it. A FEW THINGS TO KNOW Optional model downloads require internet access. Recordings and transcripts remain in the app unless you share them or include them in device backups, depending on your settings. Transcription, speaker detection, and AI-generated text can make mistakes; check important details against the audio. Speed varies by iPhone, recording length, and model.
