WAY Judge - Talk & Reflect
Pause, listen, understand
Only for iPhone
$2.99 · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
iPhone
Launch sale until Nov 10. A small pause for a better conversation. Reflect together in English, Korean, Simplified Chinese or Japanese.
[1.3 · A clearer way to review]
Start with text, recording or an example. Use A/B nicknames, verify imported speakers, and review one exact quote with context. Pick another moment or topic, expand details when needed, and see wording practice only after a safety check.
WAY Judge helps you reflect on what was said, not decide who won.
[On-device communication coaching]
Prepare for the next conversation without an API key or network. Fixed rules review recorded words and turn order, then select original questions and practice examples. This is not professional counseling, treatment or clinically validated assessment.
• Evidence, not labels: examine a request followed by disengagement, alternating counterstatements, possible generalizations or assumptions, and possible repair attempts such as apologies. Quotes support each observation; intent, cause and blame are not determined.
• Check meaning and needs: reflect actual words and ask, rather than declaring what anyone feels. Unknown speakers are never assigned to a person.
• Seven topics: chores, shared-spending process, contact expectations, caregiving, relatives and boundaries, respect and listening, or one general issue. Change the suggested topic if it does not fit.
• Six-step practice: choose a pause, select one incident, check understanding and needs, make a small request, draft a trial agreement, and check later. Edit original wording examples and a who/what/when/review plan.
• Safety first: joint exercises appear only after your own confirmation that talking is safe now. Words needing a check for threats, coercion or self-harm, or your unsafe answer, replace joint-talk/compromise exercises with individual safety support. No matched signal does not establish safety.
• Optional local notes: save a checklist, practice agreement and later check-in answers with the conversation. These are not added to external AI requests. Including coaching when sharing is a separate default-off option.
LISTEN, IMPORT AND REFLECT
Choose English, Korean, Simplified Chinese or Japanese for the interface and on-device recognition. Mixed-language recognition is not supported.
With everyone's consent, transcribe live speech and select speaker A/B manually. Import m4a/mp3/wav/caf audio up to 60 minutes, chat screenshots, or KakaoTalk/LINE/WhatsApp exports (zip, txt), then correct text and speaker assignments. Original files/images are not kept or uploaded.
Dispute watch checks sound level only while the app is open and starts listening after your threshold, with prior participant consent. Action button/Shortcuts require user setup in iPhone Settings. The dashboard counts noise, loud voices and possible profanity; sustained loud input pauses recognition and opens breathing. dBFS is relative input level, not calibrated sound pressure or an emotion measurement.
OPTIONAL AI, YOUR OWN API KEY
For an additional interpretation, use your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key. Each request previews the recipient and exact data and separately confirms your consent and everyone's permission. Only selected dialogue, speaker pseudonyms, language/model and instructions are sent, not raw audio, loudness, timestamps, other records or coaching notes. Provider processing terms apply. API fees are separate from the app price and consumer subscriptions.
LOCAL BY DEFAULT
Records stay in protected app-private storage, excluded from iCloud and device backups. No raw-audio storage, voiceprints, ads, tracking or WAY server. Sharing requires a preview and everyone's consent.
Recognition and rules can miss context or make mistakes. No named counselor's videos are used for training, and no expert participates in, endorses or validates this feature. The app does not determine truth, blame, a winner, mental health or relationship safety, and is not a substitute for counseling, legal advice or emergency help. If there is threat or violence, stop and seek real support through a safe method.
