BoardCalc is a cut-list and board calculator for woodworkers, cabinetmakers and DIYers. Metric by default with an imperial option (inches and fractions), a classic wood look, and everything stays on your device.
CUT PLANNER
• Sheet goods (2D) and boards (1D) in one planner
• Saw kerf, grain-locked parts that are never rotated, optional part rotation
• Panel-saw mode (straight guillotine cuts only) or CNC nesting (any layout)
• Optimize for least waste or lowest cost; the result says whether the sheet count is a proven minimum or the best layout found
• Use offcuts from your inventory first
• Every layout is checked for overlaps, kerf spacing, grain and part count before it is shown
• Edit the layout by hand: drag parts, invalid drops snap back, reset to the optimized layout at any time
• Cut order view with numbered cuts, edge-banding totals per part, utilization per sheet, zoom and full-screen view
• Import parts from CSV or XLSX (name, length, width, qty, grain, edges; German headers and decimal commas work too)
• Export a PDF cut plan and a DXF file for your CNC
CONVERTER
