Room turns storage into a visual map, keeps memory pressure in view, and makes developer resources easier to understand. Find the big files Scan folders you choose and explore a map sized by allocated disk space. Spot large files, reveal hidden entries, filter by category, and open items in Finder. Drill into accessible subfolders without losing your place. Keep memory in view Read RAM use, memory pressure, compression, and swap. Choose RAM or available storage for the menu bar, with pressure colors and optional swap details. Room offers monitoring and guidance without closing your apps. Connect storage to projects Review Android virtual-device sizes and available date information. Group Gradle storage by version and see references from selected project wrappers. These reviews are read-only; a date or missing reference is not proof that a resource is unused. Review supported cleanup Inspect cache and developer-storage locations within the access you approve. Cleanup is limited to supported npm download objects that are more than 30 days old and pass local SHA512 verification. Other caches, installed packages, indexes, and temporary data stay available for inspection. Approve the exact selection and folders before anything moves to Trash. Removing an npm download may cause another download, installation retries, or an offline-install failure. Files in Trash still use disk space until you empty it. Keep a way back Room records eligible changes locally and can restore unchanged items when their original locations are available. It never empties Trash. Suggestions that stay local When Apple Intelligence is supported and ready, optional on-device analysis can suggest categories and review items from a bounded set of file names, relative paths, types, sizes, and dates. File contents are not passed to the model. Local rules remain available when the model is not ready. Suggestions inform your review; they never authorize cleanup. Made for Mac Native Liquid Glass controls, keyboard shortcuts, Light and Dark appearance, and support for Reduce Motion and Reduce Transparency. Room remembers the folders you approve, while macOS remains in charge of protected locations. Requires an Apple silicon Mac running macOS 26 or later. No account required. No ads or in-app purchases.
