BEFORE PICKUP
A 14-point preparation list: documents and proof of payment, insurance, registration, phone key, enough time in daylight, and what to bring – flashlight, microfiber cloth, tire pressure gauge, masking tape, charging cable, a charged phone and a second person.
CHOOSE YOUR CHECKLIST
• Standard checklist – 48 checks for any vehicle: panels, paint, glass, wheels and tires, interior, seats, dashboard, delivery essentials and electronics.
• 10-minute essentials – the items that matter most at the handover; do the rest later.
• Model Y and Model 3 full inspections – 133 checks each, from paint to test drive.
• Your own templates – build and edit custom checklists.
CHECK, NOTE, DOCUMENT
• Mark each item Pass, Fail or N/A with large buttons and add a note.
• Attach photos to any checklist note – take one with the camera or pick several from your library.
• Damage log: take a photo or pick one from your library, choose where the damage is (e.g. front bumper, doors, roof, wheels, glass, interior) and how severe it is (minor, moderate, severe), and add a note.
• VIN check: warns if the VIN is not 17 characters or contains I, O or Q.
DECIDE AND SHARE
• Record your decision: accept, accept with conditions, or refuse delivery. Open defects are listed for you.
• Create a PDF inspection report with your checklist results, notes, photos and a signature line, and share it via the iOS share sheet (Mail, AirDrop, Files …).
• Every inspection is saved on your iPhone, so you can come back to it later.
